ApeGreece Privacy Policy
This notice explains the personal data ApeGreece processes, the purposes/legal bases, recipients, retention criteria and your GDPR rights.
1. Controller and contact
Not configured is the controller for personal data used to operate ApeGreece. Controller location/contact: Not configured. Privacy/data-rights requests: Not configured. The beta does not claim to be a registered company unless the public configuration says otherwise.
2. Data processed
Depending on the features you use, this may include account/authentication details; optional profile data; posts, comments, listings and messages/inquiries; reports and blocks; saved items; notification preferences and push tokens; learning progress; permit-reminder information you choose to save; Work & OT Tracker records; shop/service ownership and public-source verification requests; and security/moderation records. The individual beta does not intentionally collect identity-document scans for business/service verification.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Data is processed to provide features you request and perform the user-service relationship; for proportionate security, fraud prevention, moderation and reliability based on legitimate interests where those interests are not overridden by your rights; with consent where a feature specifically asks for it, such as optional notifications; and where necessary to comply with legal obligations or establish/exercise/defend legal claims.
4. Public/community and directory data
Information intentionally published in profiles, posts, listings, shops/services or community areas can be visible to other users or the public. Some official/business directory information may be collected from publicly accessible sources. Where relevant, ApeGreece records the source/freshness and provides claim, correction or reporting routes. Private professionals are not to be invented or auto-seeded as verified. Do not publish passwords, full payment-card data, passport scans, residence-permit documents, banking credentials or other sensitive identity documents in public areas.
5. Providers and recipients
ApeGreece uses Supabase for authentication, database, storage and backend functions and Expo services for app delivery and optional push-notification infrastructure. External official/informational links may lead to independent third parties acting under their own privacy terms. In-app payment and affiliate monetisation are disabled in the individual beta.
6. Location and device permissions
Location, photos/camera and notifications are requested only when a relevant feature needs them. Location should not be requested merely because the app starts. You can refuse or later change permissions in device settings; some related features may then be unavailable.
7. Retention
Account and user-created data is generally kept while the account or relevant content remains active and is removed/anonymised after deletion where appropriate, subject to backups and lawful exceptions. Moderation/security records may be retained for a proportionate period needed to handle abuse, disputes or legal claims. ApeGreece should not keep personal data merely because it may be useful someday.
8. International processing
Some technology providers may process data outside the EEA. Where GDPR transfer rules apply, an applicable lawful transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards must be used under the relevant provider arrangement.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and withdraw consent for consent-based processing. Contact Not configured. Requests are handled without undue delay and normally within the GDPR time limits. You can initiate account deletion in the app or use the web deletion route. You may complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority at dpa.gr or another competent authority.
10. Security and updates
ApeGreece uses access controls and database security rules intended to limit data to authorised access. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. This notice may be updated when features, providers or legal requirements change; material changes should be reflected by an updated date and, where appropriate, an in-app notice.
